About Us:

Martial arts training at Gracie Barra Atascadero builds perseverance and character by teaching athletes to overcome challenges. Our students learn to conquer adversities and even embrace the idea that every obstacle is an opportunity for improvement. Through Jiu-Jitsu, they learn to problem solve, stay calm, and apply those skills to their daily lives. Their determination in class allows them to view the bigger picture and grow into their full potential on and off the mat.

Our History:

Gracie Barra Atascadero owner Evan Lincer has always dreamed of owning a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy since he started training in 2018. Jiu-Jitsu is a passion that quickly took over his life and changed it for the better. After training for three years he discovered his knack for teaching which beckoned him to follow his dream and open Gracie Barra Atascadero in 2023. Now he embraces his ability to help his students improve themselves on and off the mats through the practice of Gracie Barra Jiu-jitsu. Evan continuously strives to expand his knowledge and set a good example for the community.
