Evan Lincer, the owner of Gracie Barra Atascadero, has harbored a dream of owning a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy ever since he embarked on his training journey in 2018.

This passion for Jiu-Jitsu rapidly consumed his life, bringing about profound positive changes. Over five and a half years of dedicated training, he unearthed his innate talent for teaching, which paved the way for him to realize his dream – the establishment of Gracie Barra Atascadero. Today, he actively nurtures his ability to instill a deep love and appreciation for Jiu-Jitsu among his students. Continuously striving to expand his knowledge, Evan consistently sets a remarkable example for his community by coaching, training and competing alongside his Gracie Barra team mates.

Our instructors not only possess impressive technical expertise but also excel as educators, adept at fostering both support and challenge within the learning environment. Moreover, they keenly grasp the individuality of each student, customizing their teaching methods accordingly. Therefore, ensuring safety remains paramount in their approach, as they meticulously guide students through techniques with precision and control.
